Jeff and Lee Smead

Jeff, Lee, and their two children Kristin and Justin relocated to Indiana in 1992 from Erie Pennsylvania after Jeff accepted a position with S & T Bank as Executive Vice President of Loan Administration. Jeff and Lee are both from the Mentor/Painesville Ohio area where most of the extended family still lives. Jeff gave his life to Christ in 1975 and shortly thereafter started attending Saint Andrew Episcopal Church where he met his wife Lee.

Jeff was very involved with the youth program at Saint Andrew Church and help start a youth group that began with 10 which latter expanded to 60 at special events. Lee was a Sunday school teacher and she and Jeff were part of the team that instructed the youth for confirmation. In 1979 Jeff and Lee became involved with “Faith Alive” and would travel to other Churches in Ohio, NY, Michigan and PA coordinating Children’s programs. In 1980 they both became involved with Cursillo and Koinonia; in 2006 with Kairos Prison ministry.

Jeff was a member of a Christian Folk Group called “The New Fellowship” in the late 70’s and early 80’s. In 2007 Lee started a business that makes beautiful handmade ribbon purses In September 2006 Jeff retired from S & T bank and concentrated his efforts toward ministry and was ordained in 2009.

Robin Pavlick has played piano and organ for the Homer City United Methodist Church since 1995. She is also a member of the bell choir and was previously superintendent of the Sunday School and also a Sunday School teacher. She has lived in the Homer City area her entire life, having graduated from IUP with a degree in Education of the Exceptional. She enjoys spending time with her family: Bernie, Megan and Allison, and her border collies.
